12 Jun 1994, Mostar, Bosnia / Former Yugoslavia --- During the civil war in the former Yugoslavia 1991-1995 the city of Mostar which was part Croat part Moslem was divided in two.The moslem east separated from the rest of the city by a river gorge was put under siege and heavily bombarded until a tentative peace was made in the summer of 1994.
